Mentoring and assistance

Clarify the business model (products, customers, markets, cooperation models). Assistance in establishing contacts in enterprises to obtain contracts and industry partners. Coaching in the preparation of documentation necessary for applying for venture debt financing at a commercial bank. Advising on the operational and business preparation of the company to meet the requirements of the venture debt beneficiary.

Heritage

We will help you build a track record with an international commercial bank, as well as internal know-how in your organisation for presenting the company and obtaining bank financing.

Prizes

The selected participants will undergo a two-month-long acceleration programme, with 6 sessions of online bootcamps and 1:1 mentorship preparing the start-ups to pitch in front of an internal jury panel. 3 winner start-ups receive 20 hours of further mentoring support each, to prepare them for submitting an application for venture debt financing.

The Stages of our programme

The first
stage of the programme

The 10 finalists will undergo 6 bootcamp sessions about startup development and venture acquisition types (with a special focus on venture debt) and (if decided by CatapultX) 1:1 mentorship preparing the start-ups to pitch in front of an internal jury panel and second evaluation.

The second
stage of the programme

The 3 start-ups (Winners) receive 20 hours each of further mentoring to prepare them for the process of submission of an application for venture debt financing (Stage 2). The output of the mentoring will be the submission of 3 applications for venture debt financing.

Register your start-up

 

  • Log in, using FB, LinkedIn, or by creating a new account with your email address.

 

  • Confirm your account with the code from your email.

Complete your application

  • This will take you approximately one hour. The data and attachments you fill in are saved and you can complete and correct them repeatedly – until you submit your Application.

 

  • You can submit your Application by the 12th of October, but if you submit it by the 1st of October, we can help you correct your Application if there are any gaps.

The Green Quarter takes place on Sunday 18th May in The Entertainment Quarter, 122 Lang Rd, Moore Park, NSW 2021.

Unless stated explicitly in the event information, the Secretariat do not cover transport costs to and from events. It is your responsibility to arrange transport to and from the event. However, the Secretariat will provide specific information, if necessary, to those attending.

This is a free community funded event; there will be buckets at the park entrance for you to have the opportunity to make a gold coin donation.

To allocate tickets and manage our events we use Eventbrite. To reserve a ticket for an event, you must first register with Eventbrite. When you sign up please make sure that you use the same name and email address that we have on file for you. After you have registered with Eventbrite you will be able to save an event for future reference.

We do not provide details of other attendees to scholars. Please use the Facebook group to enquire about others going and to arrange transport or accommodation.
