How Does It Work CatapultX?

Startups joining CatapultX’s acceleration programme are on a various levels of development and have different needs. Even if their level may look similar (fundraising, go2market, etc.) the real needs can be different. Therefore, we have designed the acceleration programme, which will provide unique development plan for startups together with dedicated mentors, which will support them in this journey. Such an approach allows to optimize the time needed to overcome weaknesses and develop strengths.

01.

Initial audit

CatapultX meets a startup’s representatives to undergo the audit, which will be the base for further steps. It is crucial to be fully transparent and open if you want the acceleration programme to be productive. Audit lasts 2-4 hours and covers technology, finance, HR, product, sales, development plan and needs’ analysis. Following the audit, CatapultX prepares the initial needs’ analysis and proposes recommendation of acceleration programme.

02.

Full audit

Startup and CatapultX may decide on further cooperation based on initial audit. Full audit is executed in cooperation with dedicated mentor who will also help to build the acceleration programme. The full audit and preparation of acceleration programme always cost PLN 3500. The full audit includes: Development plan, recommendation of financing sources and list of information and documents required; Accounting and management recommendations; Map of legal risks and mitigants; Sales development plan and expansion strategy; Marketing audit and communication gaps; Dedicated and adjusted acceleration plan for the startup accompanied by mentoring and education programme

03.

Acceleration

Startup undergo the acceleration programme, which will equip it with tools and opportunities to cover gaps. The startup will have full access to our mentors and resources and our goal is to help you to grow as much as you can and as quickly as possible. In return, Catapult X gets the options for 4% of the startup.

04.

Completion of acceleration plan

In this phase, the startup completes the acceleration plan and executes development plan, which covers the weak points and additionally strengthens winning capabilities. Dedicated mentor assists in this process. The actions may include start of funding plan (equity or debt), tapping new markets, developing or repositioning of a product, getting access to new clients, etc.

05.

Post-acceleration

Startup may mandate CatapultX to execute certain additional tasks like arranging financing (debt or equity), finding other resources or partners or building project team. Successful completion of these tasks and depending on the scope will entitle CatapultX to additional remuneration.
